Wondering Why Would One Require Septic Tank Alarm Systems? Find out!

05/10/2019

The alarm in septic tanks is mainly used for alerting the user about some problems inside the septic tank which might lead the system to potentially greater issues along the road. The Alarms aims to alert the user to rectify and fix the septic tank, prior to any catastrophe.

How does it work?

Taking an example of any TGWasteWater electronic-based pump, the system which requires to pump all the wastewater out from the tank upwards to the drains. Here the system does not work by means of gravity to remove the wastewater from the system to the drainage ducts. So to balance out, an electrical pump is installed inside the tank to either clear water from the tank in certain intervals or might function depending on the net water level rising above a certain pre-determined height. If the users' pumps were supposed to fail, then water level rises way higher than it normally should have, letting the chance of sewage flowing back into the user's home.

The sump pump alarm works as a fail-safe which alerts the users of the level of water when it crosses its set height. That is when the electrical pump faces an issue for some reason which allows the water level to rise.

What does The Alarm Going Off Signify?

If any TG Wastewater septic tank alarm system goes off, it generally indicates the user, that the alarms has detected an excess or much higher water levels than usual or other different problems with pumps inside the septic tank for any electrical-based or for a compressor based pumps, for users to look into, before any damage occurs.
